Who We Are
Esteemed Music Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates esteemedmusic.co.za. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it is used, in connection with our music courses, in-person lessons, and event tickets.
Information We Collect and Hold Directly
We directly collect and store: your name, email address, and phone number when you register for a course, in-person lesson, or event ticket; order and purchase records; and any details you include in enquiry or registration forms, such as a child’s age and instrument of interest.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process purchases and enrol you in the correct course, communicate with you about your registration, event tickets, or enquiry, and improve our offerings based on where our students and attendees are located.
Payments
Payments made through our site are processed securely by PayFast or PayPal. Your card and payment details are entered directly with them and are never seen or stored by us – these are held only by our payment providers under their own privacy and security policies.
Other Third-Party Services
Our site uses hCaptcha to help protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, and Google Maps to show our studio locations. These services may process limited technical data as part of their normal operation, under their own privacy policies, separately from the information we hold ourselves.
Data Retention
We retain the information we hold directly for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate business records, and meet our legal obligations.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold directly, at any time, by contacting us at info@esteemedmusic.co.za. Since payment details are processed and held only by PayFast or PayPal, and never by us, any request relating to that information should be directed to PayFast or PayPal directly.
